Welcome
This website covers the activities of the COST Action FA0605, the signalling control of abiotic stress tolerance and production of stress protective compounds in plants. The aim is to build an international network of plant abiotic stress. The research priorities of the action are centred on complementary expertise allocated to four Working Groups that perform coordinated research in specific fields of plant stress biology:
- Functional characterisation of protein kinases
- Genetic identification of signalling factors
- Expression of genes involved in the production of osmo-protectants
- Integrated molecular analysis of the polyamine metabolic pathway
