I carried out a short term scientific visit in the Cell Signaling group lead by Prof. I. Meskiene at Max F. Perutz Laboratories, Vienna Biocenter, University of Vienna. The purpose of the visit was to investigate intracellular localisation of AP2C’s in plant cells and interaction with other proteins by advanced imaging and cell culture approaches aiming to identify the new signalling pathways regulated by protein phosphatases in Arabidopsis plants.

The planned experiments were carried out very successfully, and I especially appreciate the help of the scientists and service unit stuff from the host institution for the technical help, scientific discussions and for sharing their expertise.

I am also thankful to COST for financially supporting my scientific visit as it led to new and very exciting findings in the field of signal transduction and laid the fundament for a new project and collaboration.
